The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

Roomba s9+ iRobot from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot vacuum mop also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of one button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used however we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it before moving along.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or combine actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even if you are not at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set route.

The X2 Omni is the best robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the house. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum mop cleaner robot, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home.image
