There are mirrors that give you a view of your backseat; to keep an eye on your baby or child while driving, without ever having to turn your head to face them. There are also door locking kits available, so that you can safely child-lock your doors, so that small children can not open the car doors from the inside.
Scope out some car shows in your area or neighboring cities in order to meet other car lovers, and discover potential vehicle sales. There are a lot of informed people that may know of a good classic car being sold. Asking around lets others know what you are looking for so speak to people and get to know local car enthusiasts. A connection can always come in useful later.

Keep an eye on that, especially if you have a car of the same model, as a few years down the line these same parts could be hard to find, and pretty expensive. Why not buy and store them in bulk?
But where would you find salvage motorcycles? The best places to look for salvage motorcycles are at your local junk yard, your local newspaper or auction sites. I personally recommend auction sites. Mainly, because the selection is so good. You can probably find anything that your looking for from a honda to a Suzuki to a Ducati. with so much of a selection it will probably be very easy to find exactly what you want.
Make an appointment -- If a salvage yard makes an acceptable offer for your vehicle, then make an appointment to drop it off. If it isn't drivable, the yard may send out a tow truck to take it away. A car that has to be towed will be worth less as it will cost the salvage yard more money to obtain your vehicle. If your car is not drivable, but can be pulled to a salvage yard, then consider doing the job yourself.
Auto flea markets and swap meets are another great way my Dad finds the right used tire for his latest car or truck. Make sure you have cash on hand to make sure you can easily negotiate the price for your wheels from the seller. This will give you a better bargaining angle to get your new wheels at a used tire price.
